The internal Ruca Project aimed to improve the team's digital footprint by enhancing the organization and maintenance of the platform’s design system. My role focused on supporting design system upkeep, ensuring consistency, and organizing the project workspace for easier collaboration. The challenge stemmed from the involvement of multiple designers, each with different approaches, leading to unorganized files and inconsistent design practices. This disarray made it difficult for the team to maintain a cohesive design strategy across the platform.
The main issue was the lack of a unified structure and approach within the design process, resulting in scattered and poorly organized files. Without proper systematization, managing design updates and collaboration became inefficient. To address this, the goal was to organize the workspace by creating a well-structured platform that allowed for easier navigation and understanding of each feature and screen. In parallel, I focused on maintaining the design system, standardizing naming conventions, and ensuring consistency across the project. This effort streamlined the workflow and improved collaboration among team members.
